Week’s happenings: I spent a lot of time at my regular job last week — welcome to December! It was hectic just trying to fit in my water aerobics class and find a moment to swim a few extra laps, but it was worth the squeeze. Snow and ice on the roads, not to mention cold weather, disrupted a lot of my other normal routines.
Overall, I’m amazed I got as much done as I did. I also got in 4 hours of audiobook recording and editing as well as getting a book ready for pre-order — more information coming on that later this week. It’s not a new book (unfortunately), but it’s a starter library with the first books in my two series all packaged into one. Okay, okay, see what I tell you when you twist my arm!
If all that’s not enough, I also worked with my oldest son on his first sewing project. (Yeah, along with cooking, I don’t sew either — he was shocked that I knew so much about sewing! Just because I don’t do it doesn’t mean I don’t know how. As I routinely tell people, it’s all a matter of how you want to spend your time. I know a lot of things because I’ve chosen to go out and learn a wide variety of things. After that, I chose to do something or not to do something and I am very selective about how I spend my time. Storytelling is always worth my time and I’ve never found anything that I enjoy doing more. With a limited lifetime, as we all have, I choose to make it as enjoyable as I can. Hence, that means writing as much as possible. Choice, it all comes down to that. We all can do whatever we like, we just can’t do everything. Soap box? Yeah, probably. My dragon will go put that away now.)
Well, onto more adventures. Until next week!
