In this next section, you’ll see Ellonia talking about things that she has no knowledge about. I know that at some point Rivic and Ellonia need to have an important conversation to set up for this chapter, but I’m not sure where. Yes, it should have happened in the last chapter, but I really liked the idea of leaving it with a closed door love scene. I couldn’t interrupt. Believe me, I tried.
Yeah, the characters were all like, “Let’s not waste any more time,” and I’m all trying to have Rivic interrupt and say, “But in not wasting any more time, I need to have a serious conversation with you about this black dragon living down below Gohaldinest. Yeah, she’s my dragon mother and I need to take you down to see her.” He wouldn’t do it. Dang characters.
No, he’s right. I backed off.
I know that there is another scene coming, one that will give them more time together before this scene. It just hasn’t revealed itself to me. I’m excited to write it though; I have a cloud of what it will be in the back of my mind, so I have a small glimpse of it already.
Let’s get to this week’s chapter.
