These last two weeks have really been off for me. I keep thinking it’s Sunday, then I realize that it’s really Tuesday and I have to get these blogs out. Surprise!
I’m sure I’m not the only one feeling like this.
So, here we are at the first Free Fiction Wednesday of 2019. Can you believe that in 12 short months is will be the year 2020? Who woulda thought? *grin* My son and I are anxiously awaiting “the awakening,* what we’ve been jokingly calling the fact that any moment everyone is going to realize just how close to 2020 we are. Welcome to our boat. *grin/laugh*
Well, I want to go get some writing done. I’ve spent too much time last night (New Year’s Eve actually) and this morning (Tuesday morning) working on analyzing Excel spreadsheets I’ve been building. I even looked at PowerBI to try to learn to use it to analyze Excel data. Yes, I’m a little crazy and not good enough with numbers (I am better with words and pictures after all) to know what the heck I’m trying to achieve. But, once I get those graphs working like I expect, I’ll know it and I’ll have pretty pictures (aka graphs) to show me what I want to know. But, I’ve spent way too much time on it and my head hurts now. I must escape and find my happy place adventuring with my characters for a while. I’d like to paint some today too.
Oh, and if you’re wondering what happened to the look of my blog, I had to leave behind my old unsupported theme (which I really liked) because WordPress decided to update their editor and I didn’t have features I needed. I haven’t taken a moment to really look through my theme options and find one that will work. You know, if it’s not one thing, it’s another! I hate always trying to hit a moving target. As I said above, I need to find my happy place.
So, now that you’ve listened to me rant for a little bit, you can get to reading the next chapter. Have fun.
