Christmas eve day and thank you for deciding to spend a moment with me.
At least I’ve felt productive this week. Audio work as been going well and words have gotten done. I’m almost done with the audio for Fall’s Confession and have started on Manifest the Magic. Hopefully this week I’ll be uploading the audio for Fall’s Confession. It would be great to have one more audiobook done by the end of the year.
Adventuring in time and space has been a week of dodging laser bullets and maintaining radio silence. What a week.
Oh yes, I have many great notes on it.
This week’s adventures have included hanging out with a ninja-to-be. Shhh! He doesn’t know he’s on the path to becoming a ninja, but it is the third origin story. When I hang out with Alex Dent, I must be super quiet. The world they are on have an unknown, but very deadly entity on it. All the soldiers on this planet they hope to colonize are scared.
This is now the third time I’ve tried to write this post. Third time is the charm, right? How about we start off with this:
Happy Labor Day.
Goodbye summer of 2017. Let’s not do that again.
While I’ll be glad for a reprieve from the yard work which I haven’t been diligent about this summer, I’m certainly not ready for the steadily approaching winter either. I’m not much of a fan of ice and snow. Maybe this winter will be a mellow one. Keep the snow in the mountains. Yeah, don’t want to think about that either. Moving on.
Last week wasn’t a very productive writing week. Certainly not as much as I had hoped. Oh well, some weeks are like that. I’m hoping the next four months can be very focused and productive.
By the end of the year, I really hope to have Stardust and The Three Books out in audio, as well as the 6th Loki novella (tentatively titled: Mischief on Wheels), Prince of the
If you’ve been reading along with Ninjas: By the Numbers during the month of April, you saw on each post the picture that I thought would be the cover. I had a thought that I’d try something a little different with it and that didn’t work out. But like Bob Ross, I had a “happy accident” with it. I think it’s definitely the touch I needed for the cover. Here’s the updated cover:
I also sat down yesterday and made the cover for Prince of the Ruined Land (Legend 4 of the Sacred Knight series). Here’s a peek at it:
I still don’t have an official release date for it, but that will be announced shortly. I’m betting I will figure something out this week. All I keep thinking is that my blue and gold hero is back so Holy Sapere Martias better watch out. (grin) Yeah, I’m a little EXCITED!!!!! Best yet, with the new rate at which I’m writing, it won’t be long until we get Legend 5 in the series. Are we there yet? (Okay, I admit, when it comes to Steigan and his story, I’m unbearable. Sorry, DWS, but Steigan is my special snowflake; I can’t help it.) He just jazzes my world and I am so thankful that I get to share his story.
There will be so much more in my progress post tomorrow, but I just couldn’t wait to share these updates with you. Thank you for being here to celebrate with me! And if you’ve been enjoying my stories, remember to spread the joy of reading as entertainment with all the people in your life.
