Progress – November 26, 2018

Last week was a busy week. It was perfect week.

As I said last Monday, my son had come home from college for the holiday. It was great having him home (of course). He hung out with me, he hung out with his brother, we all hung out together — it was a whole holiday hang out party.

While enjoying his company, I finished the audio on For a Good Time, Call Loki and got it uploaded. That meant I also had to design the cover for that edition too. I do hope that in a couple of weeks I can report that the audiobook is available.

Meanwhile, I also started on editing the audio I recorded for Fall’s Confession. I also fixed the errata I found in Fall’s Confession and re-uploaded it.

Feeling a little bad today

I love writing about courageous characters. I have such a longing for people to be virtuous.

But every now and then, I like to look deeper into the mind of something gone wrong. Of course, novihomidraks (humans born of the dragon) are generally so noble, that when things go wrong with them, it gets a little bad, which can be fun. It also gives me great insights into their world.

Let’s go take a look at two of them.

For Sale, Call Loki – the audio

Yes, it’s now live and available most everywhere you get audiobooks. See below for links.

For Sale audio

Yes, I tinkered with the cover a bit for this version. I’m still on the fence whether or not I want to change it for the ebook and print version, especially now that the 5 novellas are all put together into 1-800-CallLoki; I’m just not sure that it would be a good use of my time. Maybe. Maybe someday.

But for now, you can get this lovely cover on your audiobook!

Here are some links. If you shop at another audio store, just search for my name. My books should come up. If they don’t, please send me a message and let me know where your store is. I have a good reach, but it might not be everywhere since there are so many. So do let me know.

Side note – This is my 700th blog post. If someone had told me that I would write 700 blog posts, I would have laughed. There’s no way I could be at a task for that long – I don’t have that type of consistency in my nature. Well, here we are!

Loki is back at it!

It’s out!

Loki of Midgard – not something he ever thought he’d be – is back in this new adventure.  Up until now, he’d always liked sending unauthorized visitors to Midgard back to their home realms.

Now it no longer feels like retribution, but a chore. Can’t he sit back, drink his coffee, and run his businesses? Why must Bronwyn call him yet again?

All to check out alleged poltergeist activity centering around a lowly janitor at the mall.

Really?!! What does he look like? A security guard?

But the temperature is about to drop as Loki discovers the truth. And someone is going to take a fall.

Get it now.

The gnome did it

Loki did not do this. He swears on his immortal life. (No, you didn’t just hear him snicker!)

In this case, Loki is putting forth a gnome to be a scapegoat:

Personally, I don’t think it was the gnome, not this time. Even with as creepy as he is:

Watch out, he’ll steal your soul!

Okay, now he really didn’t do that!

It’s one thing for Loki to apologize for a mess on the floor. Okay, he might have done that.

But he certainly did not (read as: DID NOT!!!!) destroy the ceiling of the mall. You can’t blame him for that.

He needs some ice cream.

(Walks away shaking his head, wondering where he can get the nearest coffee flavored ice cream. He really needs it)

Coming August 28th! Pre-order now.

Oh boy is he in trouble!

(grin)

Apology – Sorry, not sorry!

img_5147

Loki would like to say his apologies to Odin and Daikokuten, one of the Seven Lucky Gods, for the destruction of their mall.

It wasn’t really his fault. He swears.

I think the Trickster is smiling with his fingers crossed behind his back. He is “sorry, not sorry.”

P.S. this is actually the wing of the mall used in 1-800-IceBaby.
